Comedy Masala received another awesome review in the press! Our nights are growing with new comics, new jokes, bigger audiences and crazy laughs in the comedy underground. This Tuesday marks the 52nd consecutive show in 2011, and Singapore’s last comedy night in 2011. We’re gonna give 2011 a proper comedy goodbye with our featured headlining act, JONATHAN ATHERTON (AUS).

It’s gonna be a special night as we celebrate 65 nights of laughter. So buckle your seatbelts and get ready for Masala 64 also features 12 comedians (incl. 1 debut!) from Masala. Come join our Resident MC Umar Rana as he takes you on this laugh a minute ride in the comedy underground!

Jonathan Atherton is one of Australia’s finest stand-up comedians. He is the founder and host of The Comedy Club Asia. Speaking more languages than your average U.N. delegate, the truth and poignancy of his rapid-fire comedy will have you laughing…and thinking. Having lived and worked in Thailand, Japan, Kenya, Uganda and Indonesia – and presenter of “Lonely Planet” (Discovery Channel) and “Pilot Guides” (ABC-TV) – Jonathan brings a unique global perspective to his comedy. He has performed to sell out crowds in London, Ireland, Cambodia, Amsterdam, Jakarta, Thailand, Malaysia, New York and across the Australian Comedy Circuit.
