“THIS IS AWKWARD – STORIES OF RELATIONSHIPS & SEX GONE WRONG”

Folks, its time for a new adventure! Join Umar Rana (Comedy Masala) on Wed 28 Sept at Home Club (7.30pm) as he launches THE CANDLE – Singapore’s newest bi-weekly storytelling night.

THE CANDLE is a night of true stories. The story theme for opening night is “This is Awkward – Stories of Relationships & Sex Gone Wrong”.

Our opening night will feature 10 storytellers, with 9 from NYU Tisch Asia and Fin Carew (from Comedy Masala) taking the stage to tell you their true stories. The stories might be funny, might be sad, might be intense, might be whatever – but one thing all stories will have in common is that they will be TRUE STORIES. It’s going to be AWESOME!

THE CANDLE storytellers will follow simple guidelines -

1) TRUE stories (that the storytellers experienced in their OWN lives)
2) Not exceeding 5 mins

THE CANDLE is a learning curve for everyone, so please come and SHOW YOUR SUPPORT on opening nigh, and also experience the craft of live storytelling.
