Singapore’s pioneer and definitive Dubstep club night. Experience your monthly dose of hot, heavy, hard-hitting bass paired with staggering sound system guaranteed to spill your inner beast and vibrate your bones. Absorb the homage of the wobbling crowd as DJs take on the deck, dropping face-melting bass and gnarly beats. A night of dubstep, fronted by HOME resident Jerls and helmed by the duke of Dubstep, Darren Dubwise (Syndicate), is never less than inspiring so come on down to witness a different kind of orgasm.

This month, Home welcomes a new addition to the I ♥ Dubstep family. A veteran DJ in her own right, Reiki is one of the best-known names in our local bass scene and have even brought her brand of beats across Asia to nightspots in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.

We are also proud to welcome pioneering D&B homeboy, Andy Vortex of Qilin label & Exitmusik.com fame, who is back from his UK base to tear it up for you. Last but not least, gracing the decks of I ♥ Dubstep this month is also DeVille (Senseless Records, UK). The night is set to be mad, so get ready for an episode of epic bass meltdown.

About Reiki:
Born and raised in Singapore. It was in 1999 when DJ Reiki stumbled upon hard hops and nu-skool breaks. Her style of DJing gradually developed, resulting in sets of high impact tunes, frantic beats, swirling analogues and monster hooks. With a knack for dropping wicked tunes that heat up the dancefloors, DJ Reiki has supported drum n bass DJs including Aphrodite, Mickey Finn, John B, Utah Jazz and Storm as well as breaks heavyweight, General Midi (UK). On top of that, her growing reputation has earned her guest spots in other parts of Asia where she headlined gigs in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

Of her new monthly residency at I ❤ Dubstep night, “I always love a close-knit community which centred around the love of music. Right now, this night fits the bill for a bass explorer like me; not only is the genre branching out into new and sonically interesting places, it’s at a pace where I don’t have to dance so hard to move along with it!”

About DeVille (Senseless Records):
Mixing the spirit of rave with tropical heat DeVille is well known for seeking out the best international bass music for his sets cutting together grime, bassline and garage from the UK with sounds from round the world that have the same energy and intensity. He has showcased his sound across the UK, EU, USA and beyond.
As a producer he mixes up the heavy bass and raw percussive energy of his DJ sets into dancefloor bombs that have found their way into the boxes of DJs across the spectrum from Mary Ann Hobbes to Starkey, DZ to King Cannibal, Rob Smith, Warlock Basement Jaxx.

He runs Senseless Records which celebrates its fifth birthday this year. In that time the label has searched the UK and far beyond for international heat reaching out from Warsaw to Caracas. Releasing almost twenty EPs and two albums of technicolour bass music from an extended family of artists including vocalists like Max Romeo, Warrior Queen, Badness, Foreign Beggars and YT and producers like Jack Sparrow, Starkey, Sarantis, Ghosttown, Phantom, Kanji Kinetic, Brackles, MRK1, Pocz & Pacheko and many more.
